DJs galore at Hakkasan Group hotspots; Vegas Golden Knights at Celine Dion

It was a jam-packed 2018 Memorial Day Weekend for Hakkasan Group’s dayclub and nightclub properties Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace, Hakkasan Nightclub and Wet Republic at MGM Grand, Jewel Nightclub and Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria, 1 OAK Nightclub and Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage and The Bank at The Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip.

Party All the Time

Omnia began its three-day weekend celebration with Calvin Harris last Friday, and he played his chart-topping hits for a sold-out crowd. Fellow Grammy Award winner DJ Zedd kept the party going Saturday with a performance that kept guests dancing until the early hours. Hitmaker Martin Garrix wrapped up the revelry Sunday.

Hakkasan boasted four nights of celebrations, which began last Thursday with an MDW edition of Lil Jon’s “About Last Night” party. Shots flowed as the “Turn Down for What” rapper took over the turntables. Grammy winner Tiësto played for a sold-out crowd Friday that included Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds.

The long-weekend festivities continued Saturday with Steve Aoki, who had a celebrity entourage that included singer Akon and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, whose group kicked off its residency at The Pearl at The Palms on Saturday night. Harris wrapped up the four nights of fun Sunday evening.

Along with 2018 MDW, Jewel celebrated its second anniversary. Hip-hop artist Playboi Carti headlined “The Good Life Fridays” on Friday; Lil Uzi Vert performed Saturday night; and Aoki closed out the weekend at “Flawless Mondays.” Desiigner joined Aoki to perform his breakout hit “Panda,” and Lil Jon also made a guest appearance.

1 OAK kicked off its 2018 MDW celebrations last Wednesday with DJ Mike Attack. Hip-hop legend YG performed live Friday, and the sold-out crowd included singer Miguel, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George and Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny. Tory Lanez led the party Saturday evening.

The weekend lineup for The Bank, which is closing June 3, was DJ Que on Friday, DJ Mike K on Saturday and Kid Conrad on Sunday. At Wet Republic, the dayclub revelry was led by Armin Van Buuren on Friday, Tiësto on Saturday, Garrix on Sunday and Zedd on Monday.

Liquid’s festivities began with DJ E-Rock on Thursday, DJ Turbulence on Friday, DJ Drama on Saturday, DJ duo BRKLYN on Sunday and DJ Nova on Monday. And the European-style dayclub Bare featured Greg Lopez on Thursday, DJ MK on Friday, Zsuzsanna on Saturday, Alex Madden on Sunday and Joseph Gettright and “The Barekini Contest” on Monday.
